A 36-year-old British tourist met his death after allegedly drinking 22 shots of alcohol. This large dose was offered to him by staffers of a strip club in Poland’s Krakow.
The already drunk British tourist reportedly consumed 22 powerful shots of liquor in 90 minutes on the insistence of staff members. And then he collapsed and died.
Poland’s National Prosecutor’s Office said the tourist had a blood alcohol content of at least 0.4 per cent, which is considered lethal, reported Mirror of UK.
According to Polish authorities, when the man became unconscious, he was robbed of 420 euros (Around Rs 37,700).
Last week, Polish police nabbed 58 people involved in organised crime at clubs. They ran a racket in which they would get customers drunk before stealing their money. The men involved in the murder of the British tourist were also arrested.
