Burnt body of woman rescued from sewage tank, accused husband was arrested and prosecuted

Koraput: In the much talked about Gauri Sahu murder case of Kakarigumma in Lakshmipur block of Koraput district, Dasarath Sahu, the accused husband, was arrested. After the police investigation, Dasarath, the husband of the dead woman Gauri Sahu, who killed herself, appears to confess. Lakshmipur police have investigated the incident. According to police sources, the charred body was recovered from the sewage tank in the presence of the accused, and some parts were sent to Bhubaneswar. It is expected that important information will be obtained from the test report.

Similarly, according to the accused Dasarath Sahu, she died due to heavy bleeding due to hitting her head on the iron grill of the house due to pushing. However, the truth of this incident is in doubt. On the other hand, it is said that the forensic report will be the main evidence during the hearing of the case in court. The actual cause of death will be clear from this report. The accused Dasarath Sahu has been detained in the police station and an investigation has been started and a case has been filed and the accused has been prosecuted under Section 302 and 2011 according to Case No. 96/2022, Kakarigumma police officer Mushal Raut informed. However, the police said that the main accused in this case, Dasarath, will be remanded for further questioning and obtaining information.
