CBI Slaps another Corruption Case against AAP’s Manish Sisodia

New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) registered a fresh corruption case against arrested Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Manish Sisodia. This time CBI has filed the new case over alleged corruption in the Delhi government’s Feedback Unit (FBU).

The AAP government formed the FBU when it came to power in Delhi in 2015. According to the CBI, the unlawful manner of creation and working of the Feedback Unit (FBU) resulted in wrongful loss to the government exchequer to the tune of approximately Rs 36 Lakhs. Delhi Chief Minister and AAP head, Arvind Kejriwal reacted sharply to this new case filed against the jailed AAP leader. The Delhi CM termed the move as “sad for the country”.

“PM’s plan is to slap several false cases against Manish and keep him in custody for a long period. Sad for the country!” Arvind Kejriwal tweeted.
