Chaitra Navratri Day 7: Worship Maa Kalratri to Stay Protected from Evil Eye

The holy festival of Chaitra Navratri is going on. Today is the seventh day of Navratri. Maa Kalratri is worshipped on the seventh day of Navratri, the seventh form of the Maa Durga.

The body of Maa Kalratri is black like darkness. Maa’s hair is long and scattered. There is a garland around the neck of the Maa, which keeps on shining like lightning. Maa Kalratri has four hands. Waking up early in the morning, after retiring from a bath, etc., wear clean clothes. Bath the idol of the goddess with Gangajal or pure water. Offer red-coloured clothes to the Maa. According to religious beliefs, the goddess likes red colour. Offer flowers to her after bathing. After that apply Roli Kumkum. Offer sweets, five fruits, and five types of fruits to the goddess. Offer honey to Maa Kalratri. Meditate more and more on Maa Kalratri. Do the aarti of the goddess also.

‘Om aim hrim klin chamundayai vichai om kaalratri daivya namah.’

‘ओम ऐं ह्रीं क्लीं चामुण्डायै विच्चै ऊं कालरात्रि दैव्ये नम:।’
