Child Wakes Up Before Parents, Dies Falling from Eighth Floor Apartment

New Delhi: A five-year-old boy fell from the balcony of an eighth-floor flat in a high-rise group housing society in Noida on Friday morning.

This incident occurred at around 5.45 am at the Hyde Park Society in Sector 78 under Sector 113 police station limits. The parents of the child had not woken up at the time of the mishap.

The ill-fated child had waked up earlier than his parents and was roaming around the house. He went to the balcony of the flat and is suspected to have climbed up the balcony grill, from where he fell down, police sources said.

The fatally injured child was immediately to a private hospital in Sector 71 in Noida. But doctors could not save him.
