Clash Between Med Students of Berhampur MKCG and Burla VIMSAR During ‘Euphoria’ Fest

Burla: Medical student groups from Berhampur’s MKCG and Burla’s VIMSAR entered into a violent clash on the VIMSAR campus on Tuesday during the ‘Euphoria’ Festival.

The warring medical students pelted stones at each other and fire extinguishers were thrown into a bus with students. The bus was locked from the outside to make the students inside suffer because of the fume coming out of the fire extinguishers.

The incident occurred during the inter-medical college festival ‘Euphoria’.

The exact reason behind the clash is yet to be ascertained. Some students were injured in this group clash.

Students of the MKCG medical college alleged that when they reached Burla for the fest, their bus was attacked. Fire-extinguisher gas was sprayed inside the bus when MKCG students were inside it.
