Couple Arrested for Killing Niece’s Lover & Chopping His Body into Pieces in Himachal

Shimla: Three persons including a couple were arrested in Himachal Pradesh’s Chamba for killing a man and chopping off his body into pieces.

The deceased, identified as Manohar, was missing on June 6. On June 8, a missing complaint was filed regarding it. On June 9, his chopped of body pieces were recovered from a nallah in Bandal panchayat.

The persons arrested in connection to this gruesome murder were Shabir, Musafir Hussian and his wife.

Manohar was murdered because of his inter-faith relationship with the minor niece of the arrested couple, investigating police officials said.

The girl has been detained by the police for interrogation.

Right-wing outfits of Himachal Pradesh have demanded strict punishment against the accused. Hans Raj, BJP MLA from Churah in Chamba district demanded a CBI probe into the matter.
