DD Sports Will Telecast Big Cricket League (BCL)

New Delhi: National broadcaster Prasar Bharati has entered a long-term deal to acquire the telecast rights of the Big Cricket League (BCL). The inaugural edition of BCL will be held in September 2024 in Lucknow.

The BCL will have former internationals play with aspiring amateur Indian cricketers.

Prasar Bharati will be promoting the league across its network and Big Cricket League will be telecast on DD Sports in India and in more than 30 countries.

The BCL will feature six teams- Awadh Lions, Northern Challengers, Rajasthan Kings, Mumbai Marines, Southern Spartans and Bengal Rhinos.

Former India captain Dilip Vengsarkar League Commissioner. Former Indian pacer Rudra Pratap Singh and legendary West Indian fast bowler Courtney Walsh are the BCL’s President and Vice-President.
