Dhaba Owner Shot Dead Over Past Enmity in Sundargarh

Sundargarh: The owner of a roadside Dhaba (Eatery) was reportedly shot dead by unknown miscreants near Malda under Koida police in Banai of Odisha’s Sundargarh district.

The deceased was identified as Ramesh Chatamba. His associate, identified as Rama Purti was also seriously injured in this incident.

According to sources, both the victims were shot due to past enmity. Ramesh and Rama were first rushed to Tisco hospital in Joda, where the doctor declared Ramesh brought dead. Rama was shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack after his condition deteriorated.

On being informed, local police reached the spot and began to probe. Further details related to the case are awaited.
