Dwayne Bravo Announces Retirement From IPL

Mumbai: Dwayne Bravo announced his retirement from the Indian Premiere League (IPL) today. But he will continue his link with Chennai Super Kings by becoming their bowling coach.

Bravo announced retirement ahead of the upcoming IPL 2023 auction. He was an integral part of the championship-winning sides under MS Dhoni.

CSK announces the West Indies all-rounder as their new bowling coach with Laxmipathy Balaji taking a break for a year.

ā€œI never thought I would be the leading wicket-taker in the history of IPL. But Iā€™m just happy to be a part of IPL history!ā€ said Bravo.

Bravo is currently the leading wicket-taker in IPL history with 183 scalps to his name from 161 matches. He is with CSK since 2011 and was part of their IPL triumphs in 2011, 2018, and 2021.
