ED Seeks Another 7-Day Remand For Archana Nag; 15 days For hubby

Bhubaneswar: Lady blackmailer Archana Nag and her husband Jagabandhu Chand were on Tuesday produced before the court of SDJM Bhubaneswar in connection with the alleged blackmail and extortion case.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED), which is probing the monetary angle of the case sought another custodial remand of Nag today.

While the ED sought a 7-day remand for Nag and 15-day remand for her husband.

The ED had taken Nag on a 7-day remand which ended today following which she was produced before the court.

To dig deeper into the financial transactions of the couple, the agency, has sought an extension of the remand.

On the other hand, Chand has moved the Orissa High Court seeking a bail after his petition was rejected by the District and Sessions Court.
