Elephant Carcass Discovered in Mayurbhanj’s Bangiriposhi

Baripada: An elephant carcass was located near Baliadhirapa under the Bangiriposhi Forest Range in Mayurbhanj district on Friday.

According to forest officials, the reason behind the death of the pachyderm has not yet been ascertained. Forest officials are at the spot for an investigation. There is no information about when the elephant died.

The reason behind the elephant’s death will be ascertained only after the autopsy report is received.
