Full Sleeve Shirts & Trousers to Save UP Students from Dengue

Lucknow: All school students in Uttar Pradesh will have to wear full sleeve shirts and trousers. The secondary education department of the UP government has issued this directive to check rising incidences of dengue and chikungunya among children. Such uniforms will save children from mosquito bites.
Now all school students in UP will come to school wearing full shirt and trousers. Students will be compulsorily informed about these communicable diseases during daily prayer meetings.
Public awareness rallies and regular cleaning of open water tanks on the school premises would be regularly held. The school authorities will see to it that no water logging occurs on the school premises as well as its neighborhood.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also reviewed the dengue situation in the state. Thirty-six new dengue cases were reported in Lucknow on Sunday.
