Ganja Seized From SUV with ‘International Human Rights’ Plate in Balangir

Balangir: Tusura Police have seized around 22 kg of Ganja from an SUV claiming to be part of ‘International Human Rights’ in Odisha’s Balangir district. A distinct plate with ‘International Human Rights’ written on it was fixed to the vehicle to dodge the police.

Three men were detained by the police in this connection.

The accused were identified as Deepak Patel, Pramod Patel and Gaya Prasad Patel.

According to sources, the vehicle was heading towards Nuapada district on Tusura road. Acting on a tip, the police chased the SUV. The accused tried to escape through the Dhanaghara bypass. Police managed to intercept the vehicle.

A case was registered against the trio and the accused were later forwarded to court.
