Government’s big announcement for farmers who have taken loan: Waiver of interest and other expenses

New Delhi: The central government and the state government are planning many schemes to increase the income of farmers in the country. This plan is being done keeping the interests of the farmers in mind. Meanwhile, the government has made a big announcement for farmers who have taken loans, which will affect thousands of farmers. According to the information, a one-time settlement scheme has been announced for the farmers who have taken loans.

Along with this, many expenses of farmers will also be waived. After the announcement of this plan by government, there has been a wave of happiness among the farmers.

However, the Haryana government has released this scheme. Haryana has announced a one-time settlement scheme for indebted farmers. The Haryana government has announced a one-time settlement scheme for loan defaulters or members of the District Agricultural and Land Development Bank. State Union Minister Banwari Lal said, “Under this scheme announced for the members who have taken loans, 100 percent discount will be given on outstanding interest.”

He also said that if the farmer who took the loan has died, then this discount will be given to his heirs on depositing the principal amount by 31 March 2023. He said that for this, the heirs of the deceased borrowers will be given 100% discount on the fixed interest on depositing the entire principal amount in the loan account. Apart from this, fines, interest and other expenses will also be waived.
