Health ATM facility will be available at 4600 health centers in 03 months: Yogi

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has said that health ATM facilities will be provided at all 4600 health centers in the state in the next three months to connect the general public with better health facilities.

Yogi gave this information after inaugurating the first health ATM center in Gorakhpur district on Wednesday. He said that the State Government is committed with utmost sensitivity to providing quick, accessible, and state-of-the-art medical and related tests to every person. To improve public health, the government will provide health ATM facilities at all 4600 primary and community health centers in the state in the next three months.

Yogi launched the first Health ATM Center at the Primary Health Center (PHC) in Chargaon, Gorakhpur. Addressing the function organized during this, he said that Health ATM will play a decisive role in strengthening health facilities in rural areas. Health ATM is a small example of the latest importance of technology in the health sector.

It is worth mentioning that after the installation of health ATMs at health centers, people of the village will be able to get more than 50 tests done free of cost in 5 minutes. Appropriate medical consultation can be taken by sending the test report online to the specialist doctor through tele-consultancy.

He said that along with general tests like weight, pulse rate, heart health, blood sugar, urine, dengue, malaria, hepatitis, arthritis profile, pregnancy test, and typhoid will also be done in the health ATM, he added. He said that Health ATM is the need of the day. The government intends that in the next two to three months, health ATMs should be installed at all health centers in Gorakhpur.
