New Delhi: Union Information and Broadcasting, Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Anurag Singh Thakur said that India rising from 10th place has become fifth largest economy under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that record investment has taken place in the country and the government is stressing upon increasing exports and decreasing imports.
Mr. Thakur said this in an interview with Akashvani at Chandigarh after reviewing the Swachhta Abhiyan in Doordarshan and Akashvani Kendra today.
On giving 75000 jobs by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday, Mr. Thakur said, this is a gift for youth from the Prime Minister on the occasion of Dhanteras. He said that 20 lakh jobs would be given in record time.
