INDvsAUS: 3rd & Final Match Underway in Chennai

Chennai: The third and final ODI of the 3-match series between India and Australia is underway in Chennai’s Chepauk Stadium.

Australia were 74 for two loss in 12.3 overs when the reports last came in. Earlier, Australia won the toss and chose to bat.

In the last match, it was a dominating victory for the Aussies as the visitors showed their power with both bat and ball at the second ODI in Visakhapatnam on Sunday.

Mitchell Starc’s 5-53 and a blazing 66 by Mitchell Marsh helped Australia demolish India by 10 wickets.

Openers Travis Head (51) and Marsh, who smashed six sixes in his 36-ball blitz, then took apart the Indian bowling to romp home in 11 overs and level the three-match series with one game left.

Mitchell Starc ran through the India batting lineup in Visakhapatnam with a five-for as India was reduced to one of their lowest ODI totals at home.

India was skittled out for a mere 117 in the second ODI of the series, recording their second-lowest team score while batting first at home.

Virat Kohli hung in and managed 33 but it was not enough as he was undone by an inswinger from Nathan Ellis.
