Inmate Found Hanging in Drug Rehab Center in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: An inmate of a drug de-addiction center in Bhubaneswar was found hanging in his room on Monday morning. According to police sources, this body was located in the Koshish De-addiction Center at Nandan Vihar under Infocity police limits.

Other inmates of the de-addiction center located the hanging body of the victim and informed the authorities. Personnel of the Infocity police station seized the body and sent it for autopsy.

An investigation is on with the help of a forensic team. It is yet to be ascertained whether the victim ended his life or was murdered.

In November 2022, a youth named Rajiv Srichandan was beaten to death at Koladiha Drug Rehabilitation Center on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar.
