Killer of Minor Girl in Angul Arrested by Odisha Police from Chhattisgarh

Bhubaneswar: A murder accused, who had absconded after killing a minor girl at Kuio village under Sadar police limits in Angul district on May 8, was tracked down and arrested by Odisha police from Chhattisgarh.

The police could trace and arrest the accused when he posted some photos of him with the girl on Facebook.

A special team of Angul district police rushed to Chhattisgarh to arrest the accused Ranjan Behera. He slit the throat of the minor girl, Khusi Sahu after forcibly entering her house on May 8.

The accused managed to escape from the spot after committing the shocking crime. The reason behind the murder is also not ascertained. It is suspected that the murder was the fallout of a one-sided love affair.
