Bhubaneswar: Popular Ollywood actor Pintu Nanda passed away while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Hyderabad, last night. He was 45. The demise of actor Pintu Nanda has left an unfillable void in the Odia film industry.

As the actor departs us shockingly, there cannot be a better way to remember him than taking a stroll down memory lane and celebrating his journey.

The actor was one of the most popular faces in the Odia households with his performances in movies, albums and TV serials. He started his acting career in the Odia film industry in the year 1996.

While he debuted in Ollywood with the film ‘Koili’, his performance in ‘Randi Pua Ananta’ aired on DD Odia had won the hearts of many. He gained immense popularity with the Odia album ‘E Gaura Aji Kali Kana Khauchu’.

It is worth mentioning that the actor had acted in over 70 movies including ‘Wrong Number’, ‘Bahudibe Mo Jaga Balia’, ‘Prema Rutu Asilare’, ‘Dosti’, ‘Hatha Dhari Chalutha’, ‘Rumku Jhumana’, and ‘Katha Deli Matha Chhuin’. Nanda had won State Film Award in the Best Comedian category for his performance in ‘Wrong Number’.
