Loud DJ Sound Kills Youth in Cuttack’s Salepur!

Cuttack: High decibel sound of a DJ (Disc Jockey) unit led to the death of a youth in the Salepur area of the Cuttack district. The deceased was part of the procession of ‘Baideibaba Chaiti’ festivities.

The DJ unit was playing songs in extremely high sound and youths in the procession were dancing to its beats. All of a sudden, a youth named Narahari Sethi (21) of Barahipur village fell down and became unconscious. Later he was declared dead at the local Community Health Centre (CHC).

It is suspected that he may have died because of a heart attack caused by the extremely high decibel DJ sound. As per experts, any sound above 120 decibels can prove to be fatal for humans.
