LPG cylinder price declines in festive season

Indian Oil Corporation, from today, LPG cylinders have become cheaper by Rs 25.50 in Delhi, Rs 36.50 in Kolkata, and Rs 35.50 in Mumbai.

New Delhi: During Navratri, the customers got a lot of hope as LPG Cylinder Prices declined. The price of commercial cylinders has come down. According to the Indian Oil Corporation, from today, LPG cylinders have become cheaper by Rs 25.50 in Delhi, Rs 36.50 in Kolkata, and Rs 35.50 in Mumbai.

This change has happened in the price of a 19 kg commercial cylinder. Meanwhile, there has been no change in domestic and 14.2 LPG cylinder prices. On July 6, the price of a domestic LPG cylinder was increased by Rs 50.

Commercial cylinder prices have been reduced for the sixth consecutive month. Its price touched Rs 2,354 in May, but since then it has been falling steadily. In September too, the prices were reduced by Rs 100.

According to Indian Oil, the price of a 19 kg LPG cylinder will be available from today at Rs 1895.50 in Delhi, Rs 1959 in Kolkata, Rs 1811.50 in Mumbai, and Rs 2009.50 in Chennai. With the reduction in the price of commercial gas cylinders, food and drink in hotels, restaurants, and pubs are expected to become cheaper.

Meanwhile, natural gas prices rose 40 percent to record highs. There are reports that the price of CNG and PNG gas, which is now reaching kitchens through pipes, may increase.
