Man Kills Girlfriend on Their Marriage Day in UP

Lucknow: For the lovebirds, marriage is a sweet dream to be achieved. But a youth murdered his girlfriend on the day of their wedding in Lucknow. The deceased named Komal went missing on the day of her wedding. Her boyfriend Rahul has been taken into custody.

During interrogation, Rahul is said to have confessed that he decided to kill Komal because she was putting pressure on her for marriage while his family was against it.

On the morning of the scheduled date of their wedding, Rahul called Komal to the Kukrel forest, where he strangled her to death, police sources said. Komal’s father filed a missing complaint with the police that led to the arrest of Rahul.

Investigative police officers suspected Rahul’s hand in the murder as the last location of Rahul and Komal was at the same place inside the jungle. Later on, Rahul had switched off his phone. The body of the deceased woman was recovered and sent for post-mortem.
