Mercury Drops to 5.6 Degrees in Koraput’s Semiliguda
Bhubaneswar: Chilly night continues in Odisha. Night temperature dropped to 5.6 degrees Celsius in Semiliguda of Koraput district. G Udaygiri of Kandhamal district recorded 8 degrees Celsius temperature on Sunday night.
Phulbani of Kandhamal district and Kirei of Sundargarh district registered 8.5 degree Celsius and 9.5 degree Celsius minimum temperatures respectively.
As per the reports given by Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar experienced a night temperature of 14 degrees Celsius, whereas Cuttack city also recorded 15 degrees Celsius.
Daringbadi of Kandhamal district, which is termed the “Kashmir of Odisha”, and Bhawanipatna of Kalahandi district recorded 9.5 degrees Celsius night temperature.
Likewise, Sundargarh district recorded 12 degrees Celsius, followed by Chiplima of Sambalpur at 9.8 degree Celsius, and Jharsuguda at 11.2 degrees Celsius. Keonjhar and Deogarh recorded 9.5 degrees Celsius and 12 degree Celsius respectively.
Koraput recorded 9.5 degrees Celsius.
