Mercury Falls Below 15 Degrees in 7 Places of Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Chilly night continues in Odisha. Night temperature dropped to 14.5 degrees Celsius in Similiguda of Koraput district. G Udaygiri of Kandhamal district recorded 11 degrees Celsius temperature on Saturday night.

Phulbani of Kandhamal district and Kirei of Sundargarh district registered 12.2-degree Celsius and 9.7 degree Celsius minimum temperatures respectively.

Koraput recorded 11.2 degrees Celsius.

As per the reports given by Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar experienced a night temperature of 19.9 degrees Celsius, whereas Cuttack city recorded 19.5 degrees Celsius night temperature.

Daringbadi of Kandhamal district, which is termed the “Kashmir of Odisha”, and Bhawanipatna of Kalahandi district recorded 13-degree celsius and 16.6 degrees Celsius night temperatures respectively.

Likewise, Sundargarh district recorded 13 degrees Celsius, followed by Sambalpur at 17 degree Celsius, and Jharsuguda at 13.2 degrees Celsius. Keonjhar and Deogarh recorded 16.6 degrees Celsius and 16.5 degree Celsius respectively.
