Missing Man’s Skeleton Unearthed After 10 Years; 3 Arrested

Dhenkanal: Dhenkanal Police have unearthed the skeleton of a man who went missing ten years back. The police have unearthed the skeleton in the Sundarikhala area of Odisha’s Dhenkanal district.

Three persons are arrested in connection with killing the man and burying his body to eliminate evidence. 

The deceased was identified as Dolagobinda Behera of Sundarikhala under Dhenkanal Town police limits.

According to sources, the accused suspected that Dolagobinda was stealing their goats. To trap him, they laid live eclectic wires. In July 2013, the deceased came in contact with live wire and died on the spot. The trio buried his body to erase the evidence.

As per reports, the three accused have confessed their crime after being arrested.

The skeleton of Dolagobinda is sent to the laboratory for testing.

After confession, the accused were forwarded to court.
