“My Wife is Doing this for Money”, Nawazuddin Breaks Silence Over Allegations

Mumbai: Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s marital tussle with his wife Aaliya Siddiqui is becoming murkier. The actor was silent for a long time but recently he has revealed his side of the story.

In a tweet, the B’town popular actor said that his wife is doing this just for money. He also added that even earlier she has filed cases against him and after receiving the amount of money she wants, she used to withdraw the case.

“First of all me and Aaliya do not stay together for several years, we are already divorced but we definitely had an understanding only for our kids. Does anyone know, why my kids are in India and not attending school for 45 days, where the school is sending me letters every day that it’s been too long an absence? My kids have been made hostage for the past 45 days & are missing their schooling in Dubai,” said Nawazuddin Siddique.

“She had abandoned the kids in Dubai for the last 4 months before calling them here on the pretext of demanding money. On average, she is been paid approx 10 lakhs per month for the past 2 years and 5-7 lakhs per month before moving to Dubai with my children, excluding the school fees, medical, travel, and other leisure activities. I have also financed her 3 films costing me crores of rupees, just to help her set up her income stream since she is the mother of my kids. She was given luxurious cars for my kids, but she sold them and spent the money on herself. She only wants more money and hence has filed numerous cases on me and my mother and it’s her routine, she has done the same in the past too and withdraws the case when paid as per her demand,” the actor added.

Earlier, Aaliya’s lawyer made shocking revelations on how Nawazuddin’s family is allegedly torturing Aaliya and depriving her of food, a bed and access to a toilet.

On January 23, Nawaz’s mother Mehrunisa Siddiqui filed an FIR against the actor’s wife.

Aaliya Siddiqui’s advocate has alleged that Nawazuddin Siddiqui and his family members haven’t provided ‘food, bed, bathroom to take bath’ to his client.

“Mr Nawazuddin Siddiqui and his family members have in the last seven days ensured that no food, no bed, and no bathroom to take bath is given to my client. They have even posted innumerable male bodyguards all around my client and further installed CCTV cameras in the hall, where my client is currently staying with her minor children,” the lawyer said in a statement.

Nawazuddin and Aaliya got married in 2010. Aaliya is Nawazuddin’s second wife. The couple has two children.
