Nikki Yadav Murder Case: She married Sahil in 2020, Police Recovers marriage Certificate

New Delhi: Delhi Police investigating the Najafgarh Nikki Yadav murder case have found that the accused Sahil Gehlot had married Nikki Yadav at Arya Samaj temple in Greater Noida in 2020. Police have also recovered certificates related to Sahil and Nikki’s marriage, reported India Today.

But Sahil’s family was opposed to their marriage. They fixed Sahil’s wedding in December 2022 and hid it from the girl’s family that Sahil was already married to Nikki. Sahil’s father has also been arrested on the charges of helping him in the conspiracy.

According to reports, the deceased, identified as Nikki Yadav, was strangulated to death near Kashmiri Gate ISBT. The accused allegedly used the data cable of his mobile in his car to strangulate her.

Later, he chopped her body parts and hid the body parts in the fridge of his dhaba located on the outskirts of Mitraon village.

He was arrested on Tuesday after the police found the woman’s body parts inside the fridge at the dhaba. The police are interrogating the accused for further legal action.

The case closely resembles the Shraddha Walkar murder case, where a 27-year-old woman was strangulated by her live-in partner Aaftab Amin Poonawala.
