Odisha CM Declares Rs 15 Lakh Incentive for Olympics Bound Kishore Jena, Amit Rohidas

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Monday announced Rs 15 lakh incentive each for javelin thrower Kishore Jena and hockey star Amit Rohidas who will take part in the Paris Olympics.

The Chief Minister has expressed the hope that this will provide them motivation for an excellent performance at the upcoming Olympics.

Describing the Olympics as a mega event in sports and games, Majhi said by qualifying to participate in the global event, Jena and Rohidas have made Odisha proud.

Noting that strong willpower, hard work, dedication and perseverance displayed by the two sportspersons will inspire young and budding talents in Odisha, the CM wished them success in the mega event.
