Odisha Teacher Arrested for Involvement in Gujarat Junior Clerk Exam Question Leak

Malkangiri: A teacher of a government school in Odisha’s Malkangiri district was arrested because of his alleged involvement in the Gujarat junior clerk recruitment exam question leak case.

The accused was identified as Saroj Malu. He worked as a teacher at the Kartanpalli Government High School in Malkangiri.

According to sources, Malu allegedly wrote the answers and circulated them after the question paper was leaked.

After arresting 16 accused involved in the case, Gujarat police came to know about the origin of the shared answers to the leaked questions.

Following this, a team of Gujarat police reached Malkangiri and arrested Malu with the help of the local police.

Notably, due to paper leak, junior clerk exams on Sunday morning were cancelled by the Gujarat Panchayat Service Selection Board (GPSSB), affecting 9,53,000 candidates, who had filed applications for the 1,150 vacant posts.
