Odisha Vigilance Raids Khariar BDO in Disproportionate Assets Case

Nuapada: Odisha Vigilance raided the residence of Khariar’s Block Development Officer in connection with the alleged possession of disproportionate assets.

The accused was identified as Narayan Sahoo.

As per search warrants issued by Special Judge, Vigilance, Balangir, simultaneous house searches were conducted by the anti-corruption agency at five places in Nuapada and Balangir districts– a residential house located at the backside of Vatika Hotel, Balangir, parental house of Sahoo at village Kusmel, Balangir, his office chamber at Panchayat Samiti Office, Khariar, Nuapada, his residential government quarter located at Khariar, Nuapada and the residential house of his relative at Bidighat, Balangir.
