Platelet donation camp in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: An increase in cases of dengue has led to the demand for platelet donors in the state. Keeping in view the dearth of platelet essential for dengue patients the Shree Saumyendra Kumar Priyadarshi, IPS, Commissioner of Police Bhubaneswar—Cuttack acted quickly and decisively in arranging donors of platelet from police personnel at Capital Hospital Blood Bank and inaugurated the camp.
