New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief over the loss of lives due to a mishap at a brick kiln in Motihari, Bihar. He prayed for a quick recovery of the injured.
Prime Minister has announced an ex-gratia of two lakh rupees from Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF) to be given to the next of kin of each deceased. He said, 50 thousand rupees will also be given to the injured.

Nearly seven labourers died and many were injured after a chimney of a brick kiln exploded in Motihari of Bihar.
The incident took place in Narirgir in the Ramgarhwa police station area. Several police teams and a State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) team reached the spot after being informed. The rescue operation is underway.
The injured were rushed to the nearby hospital.
