Police Thwart Robbery Plan in Odisha’s Jajpur; 5 Arrested

Jajpur: The police have foiled a robbery plan in Odisha’s Jajpur district. The police have also arrested five people involved in the robbery plan.

After receiving hints about the robbery, on the instructions of Jajpur SP, the police station arrested five people while they were planning to rob a petrol pump in Chhatia.

Two country-made guns, ammunition, mobile and various weapons were also seized from the arrested accused. The arrested accused are reportedly from Jajpur, Cuttack, and Kendrapara areas.

According to police reports, criminal cases are pending in various police stations against the arrested accused. The police are doing further investigation into the incident.
