President Spins Yarn in Spinning wheel at Sabarmati

Ahmedabad: President Droupadi Murmu arrived on Monday on her two-day visit to Ahmedabad, Gujarat. She first reached the Sabarmati Ashram and paid homage to the father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi. Then she spun the yarn on the spinning wheel. Governor Acharya Devvrat and Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel were also present with him.

She is scheduled to lay foundation stones for various health, irrigation, water supply, and port development projects in Gandhinagar.

On October 4, the President will launch HarStart, Gujarat University’s start-up platform for women entrepreneurs. Along with this, the Gujarat University in Ahmedabad is planning to lay foundation stones for various education and tribal development projects.
