Pune’s Techie Suffocates Wife, Son to Death Before Ending Own Life

Pune: Bodies of a software engineer, his wife, and their eight-year-old son were discovered in their home in Pune on Thursday. The software professional named Sudipto Ganguly (44) was found hanging in his apartment in the Aundh area of Pune. The bodies of his wife Priyanka and son Tanishka were located nearby.

Sudipto’s wife and the child had plastic bags wrapped around their faces, indicating he had suffocated them. No suicide note was found.

Initial investigation hints that financial problems and desperation may be the reason behind the drastic step taken by the deceased techie.

Sudipto had quit his job to start his own business. It is hinted that his wife and son died of suffocation.

According to police sources, Sudipto allegedly killed his wife and son before dying by suicide. The deaths were discovered after Sudipto’s brother, who lives in Bengaluru, grew worried when there was no response to his calls.
