Robbers kidnapped cleaners and looted Rs 6,000

Bhubaneswar: Looters have struck again. After multiple robberies, kidnappings, and extortions on Monday night, they again terrorized the capital on Tuesday. On Tuesday night, two cases of looting from Khandagiri and one from Nayapalli have come to light. According to the complaint, Krishna Nayak, who lives in Behera Basti of the rental colony, has been appointed as a cleaner in Ward No. 38 of Nayapalli.

He was stopped by three young men in front of the CRPF gate campus, as usual, today at 5 am. Before he knew it, they beat her to the punch and drugged her unconscious. By the time he regained consciousness, he was falling near the Bharatpur forest. Even the 6 thousand rupees in his pocket were not there. He complained about this at the Nayapalli police station.

Similarly, late last night, robbers beat up a worker and took away 11,000 rupees and a mobile phone from the Khandagiri flyover. It has been alleged that a mobile phone was taken away from Govind Gopal Sahu at some point in the Khandagiri police station.
