Russian Tourist Found Dead in Hotel Room at Rayagada

Rayagada: A Russian tourist was found dead in his hotel room in Rayagada town. Excessive alcohol consumption is suspected to be the cause of death.

The deceased was identified as Vladimir Bydanov. He was among four tourists from Russia who had arrived at Rayagada from Daringbadi on December 21. They were staying at the hotel Sai International.

According to sources, all the tourists and their guide Jitendra Singh had gone to their respective rooms to sleep. In the morning, the roommate found him dead.

They informed the police after finding  Vladimir lying unconscious. The local police reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem.

Jitendra Singh informed that Vladimir had consumed excess alcohol last night. He was reportedly suffering from some heart-related issues.

The actual reason behind his death is ascertained.

The investigation is underway. More details are awaited.
