Salary not received for 7 months, 7 employees drank poison

Bhopal: Even though I was working for 7 months, I was not getting my salary. So running alone with a family was a lesson for the employees of a private company. Finally, without any other option, 7 employees of the company drank poison at the same time. These 7 employees work in a private company’s factory in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. They tried to die by drinking poison inside the factory on Thursday.

However, their lives have been saved as they were admitted to the hospital on time. It has been 7 months that the workers have not received their salaries properly. When the company did not pay, they were shifted to another branch. Anil Nigam, an associate of the poisoned employees, said, “The company management has not been paying us for the past few months. We are finding it very difficult to function because of this. Unable to bear this pressure, seven of our friends have tried to commit suicide by drinking poison.”

Senior police officer Ajay Singh Kushwa said factory employees and workers, have not been paid for 7 months. All of them were engaged in the preparation of raw materials required for modular kitchens. They were all transferred to another factory in Banganga without being paid. For this, 7 employees drank poison. He said that now the police are investigating the incident. On the other hand, no response has been received from the company management. It is not known why the company was not paying its workers despite working in the factory.
