SC Grants Bail to Wife of Amar Dubey aide of Gangster Vikash Dubey

New Delhi: The Supreme Court of India has granted bail to the wife of gangster Vikas Dubey’s aide, Amar Dubey. She was arrested in connection with the Kanpur ambush case, where eight policemen were killed in Bikru village.

The accused, identified as Khushi Dubey will have to appear before the local SHO every week.

“She has to report to the SHO of the concerned police station once a week and cooperate with and cooperate with the trial,” the apex court said asking Sessions Court to impose necessary bail conditions on her.

The UP government also alleged that her behaviour was not good and she had quarrels with other prisoners. The government also mentioned that Khushi Dubey was a part of the same gang and granting bail could invite trouble.

On July 2, 2020, a police raid team was attacked by Vikash Dubey and his aides in Bikru village of Kanpur. Eight policemen were killed by the gangster and his aides in the attack. On July 10, Vikash Dubey was killed in an encounter after he “attempted to flee”, Uttar Pradesh police said.
