Semi-Burnt Body of Youth Found in Odisha’s Bargarh; Murder Suspected

Bargarh: The half-burnt body of a youth was recovered near Baepur Electric Grid under Veden police limits in Odisha’s Bargarh district.

The identity of the youth is yet to be ascertained.

According to reports, the locals eye-witnessed some people came in a car and poured petrol on the body of a young man and burnt it. They immediately informed the police about it.

On being informed police reached the spot. The Veden tehsildar Nepal Chandra Munda also reached the spot and the body was rescued with the help of police and a scientific team.

Reportedly, the accused who were burning the body fled from the scene after they noticed the locals.

The cops recovered the body and sent it for autopsy. They also seized a knife and initiated a probe into the case.
