Senior lawyers fall into trap of cybercriminals for loans

Cuttack: A senior lawyer of Cuttack has fallen into trap of cyber criminals. To provide loans to this lawyer, the cyber criminals stole Rs 45 lakhs from his bank account. In this regard, a complaint has been filed in the cyber police station of the Crime Branch. Cyber ​​Police has started the investigation of the case.

A senior lawyer in Cuttack received a message on his mobile about getting a loan. The message contained a link to a loan application. He promised to get the loan immediately. After opening this link, he registered his name with his photo and identity. He also gave information related to the bank account. After registration, the loan amount was credited to the respective lawyer’s bank account. Later, the cybercriminals cleverly stole Rs 45 lakh from his bank account. The crime branch team has taken the case seriously after it was found in this connection. It has been informed by the Crime Branch that the account to which the money has been transferred has been seized and the Crime Branch has started an investigation from where the loan app is being controlled.
