Shakib, Taijul Help Bangladesh Bundle Out India At 314 On Day 2

Dhaka: India were bundled out at 314 after Bangladesh stars Shakib Al Hasan and Taijul Islam picked four wickets each on Friday.

Currently, Najmul Shanto and Zakir Hasan are standing unbeaten as Bangladesh’s score read at 7/0 at the stumps.

The hosts trail by 80 runs. Earlier for India, Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer shone with the bat and smashed 93 and 87 runs respectively.

On Day 1, India had bowled out Bangladesh for 227 after the hosts had elected to bat in Mirpur.

For India, Umesh Yadav and Ravichandran Ashwin had bagged four wickets each, while Jaydev Unadkat had taken two on his return to the team after a 12-year gap.

For Bangladesh, Mominul Haque played a brilliant knock of 84 runs before he was dismissed by Ashwin.
