Slight Changes in Petrol & Diesel Price Today

Bhubaneswar: The price of petrol and diesel has changed a little today (November 9, 2022).

The price for petrol in Bhubaneswar has been recorded at Rs.103.19 and the diesel price for today is Rs. 94.765.

The petrol and diesel prices in Sambalpur have been recorded at Rs 103.61 and Rs 95.18 respectively. The Petrol price in Ganjam district witnessed Rs 104.07 today and the price of diesel here is Rs 95.61 per litre.

The cost of petrol in Malkangiri has been recorded as the highest in the state and is now at Rs 108.92 per litre, while the cost of diesel is Rs 100.29 per litre.

It is followed by Nabarangapur and Koraput, where the prices of petrol today are Rs 107.79 per litre and Rs 108.13 per litre respectively while the diesel price in Nabarangapur and Koraput stood the same is Rs 99.53 and Rs 99.21 per litre respectively.

The petrol and diesel rates depend upon various factors like local taxes, Value Added Taxes, freight charges, etc, which show that prices are aligned to the market prices, international benchmark, and foreign exchange rates.

Since a new mechanism was put in place in June 2017, fuel prices get reviewed every day at 6 AM.
