Student Dies While Making Reels in Chhattisgarh; Odisha Police Also Cautioned Youths

Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh): A youth died while making reels with his collegemates in Chhattisgarh’s Bilaspur. The youth allegedly fell to death from the sunshade of a building’s window.

The deceased was identified as Ashutosh Sahu, a student of a Science College in the Bilaspur district.

A video of the accident was captured on the mobile phones of two of his friends. Posting the truncated version of the video, Bilaspur SP Santosh Singh captioned, “Today, while making Instagram reels with friends on Bilaspur Science College campus, a young man (in an orange T-shirt) fell down. He could not be saved. An investigation is underway into the incident. Vigilance is necessary at all times.”

Earlier, Odisha Police cautioned people that making reels in public might lead to life-threatening situations.

There have been regular cases of incidents like making reels in dangerous places and accidents thereof all over Odisha. With the hope of becoming famous on social media, nowadays youths are risking their liver. Police further cautioned that due to this there is a possibility of accident and loss of life.
