Three Dead in Two Separate Accidents in Nuapada and Keonjhar Districts  

Bhubaneswar: Three persons died and two others were seriously injured in two separate road accidents in Nuapada and Keonjhar districts on Odisha.

Two bike riders lost their lives and two others were seriously injured when an unidentified speeding vehicle hit them near Jamukhunta village under Sindhekela police limits in Nauapada district.

The deceased were identified as Naresh Majhi and his relative, who died on the spot. Two bikers, Kadam Majhi and Ghanashyam Majhi were admitted to the VSS Medical College and Hospital, Burla in critical condition.

All the deceased and the injured were from the Kalkuta village under the Bangamunda block in Balangir district. They were returning home after attending a marriage party on feast on Monday late night when they met with the accident. Police have started an investigation to identify the accident-causing vehicle.

In another incident, a person lost his life when he was hit by an unknown vehicle on Baunsuli-Ukhunda Road under Turumunga police station limits in Keonjhar district late Monday night.

The deceased has not been identified.
