Chandigarh: Haryana government has decided to provide some succor to the lonely life of unmarried and widower persons in the state. Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Thursday announced a pension of Rs 2,750 per month for unmarried men and women in the 45-60 age group.
But this pension will not be for all. The unmarried persons eligible for this pension should have an annual income of less than Rs 1.80 lakh, the Haryana CM said.
CM Khattar also declared a pension of 2,750 per month for widowers of Haryana in the age group of 40 to 60 having an annual income less than Rs 3 lakh.
