Vigilance Raids at Properties of Junior Assistant In Balasore DEO Office

Balasore: Odisha Vigilance officials have initiated simultaneous raids at the properties linked to Pradeep Kumar Das, Junior Assistant at the Balasore District Education Office on Friday, following allegations of amassing disproportionate to his known income.

According to a press release of the Odisha Vigilance, the searches are being conducted by two Additional SPs, four DSPs, seven Inspectors, five ASIs, and other supporting staff on the strength of search warrants issued by the Special Judge, Vigilance, Balasore.

Searches are underway at the following six places in Balasore district:

*A triple-storeyed residential building located at Angargadia, Balasore.

*His paternal house at Bhuinpada, Khantapada, Balasore.

*A market complex owned by Das at Madhagada, Sergarh, Balasore.

*A house of his relative located at Kahalia, Nilagiri, Balasore.

*House of his another relative at Bhuinpada, Khantapada, Balasore.

*The office room of Das located at the Collectorate Campus in Balasore.
