Bhubaneswar: Three-time Grammy winner and acclaimed composer-producer Ricky Kej has composed the theme song of Odisha Millets Mission.
Chief Minister of Odisha, Naveen Patnaik today shared the song namely ‘The Mandia Song’ on social media platforms.
CM Naveen Patnaik tweeted, “#OdishaMilletMission is a pioneering initiative to bring back climate resilient grain in our fields & plates. Thank #GrammyAward winner & composer-producer Mr. @rickykej & @krushibibhag for the beautiful song on #Mandia to popularize the planet-friendly, nutritious millet. @FAO.”

Recently, Ricky Kej met Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today at Odisha’s capital city Bhubaneswar.
CM Naveen Patnaik congratulated the veteran music maestro on grabbing his career’s third Grammy at the 2023 Grammy Awards.
The CM also expressed his gratitude to Ricky Kej for his contribution to the ‘Mandia’ song recently released by Odisha on the occasion of the International Year of Millets.
Ricky Kej had recently bagged his career’s third Grammy for ‘Divine Tides’, which was nominated in the Best Immersive Audio Album category. The album ‘Divine Tides’ is a collaborative project with rock legend and Police drummer Stewart Copeland.
